The GrowHaus offers workshops on a variety of topics to provide knowledge and hands-on experience to the general public.  Experts on the subject areas teach in The GrowHaus' space for two hours, from 11a-1p.  The workshops are the second Saturday of every month and rotate on a variety of interesting and relevant topics.  

They are affordable!  Register for early bird $30, day of for $40.  Tambien monthly giving members always received a discount $15.  (To join Tambien, click here)

June 11: Growing Mushrooms 101
The GrowHaus' own mycologist is excited to share his knowledge about mushrooms and the fascinating world of fungi.  This hands on class will cover the biology of the mushroom life cycle and show some of the basics on how to start growing gourmet edible mushrooms.  All participants will receive a liquid culture to get started cultivating in their own home and yard.  Register here.

July 9: Square Foot, Square Meal.  Gina Chilton Parris will be at The GrowHaus teaching about Square Foot Gardening.  This method is great for those who live in a small space, or the thought of starting and maintaining a garden is overwhelming!  Register here

August 13: Cheesemaking.  The experts from Wine & Whey will be at The GrowHaus to teach the basics of making cheese.  Register here.

September 10: Seed Saving The experts from Restore Colorado: Seeds for the People will be at The GrowHaus to teach about how to save your seeds.  Register here.

October 8: Preserving The experts from The Preservery will be at The GrowHaus to teach the basic food saving techniques.  Register here.
