Seed2Seed Nutrition Intern

Seed2Seed is The GrowHaus’ groundbreaking teen summer leadership program. Held three mornings a week for 8 weeks, Seed2Seed explores nutrition, food systems, urban agriculture, cross-cultural dialogue, entrepreneurship and community leadership through a mix of hands-on activities, group discussion, and investigative assignments. The participants in the program are split 50/50 between Elyria-Swansea and Globeville residents and residents from throughout the rest of Denver. The 2016 Seed2Seed Nutrition Intern will work with the GrowHaus Education Program Coordinator and the other Seed2Seed Facilitators to prepare a menu of healthy snacks and lunches and facilitate short nutrition lessons and discussions with program participants.
