The GrowHaus offers workshops on a variety of topics to provide knowledge and hands-on experience to the general public. Experts on the subject areas teach in The GrowHaus' space for two hours, usually from 11am-1pm. The workshops are usually on the second Saturday of every month and rotate on a variety of interesting and relevant topics.

Our upcoming workshops:
Backyard Beekeeping Basics
We are excited to offer a class on natural beekeeping for our June 9th workshop from 11am to 1pm. There has been much interest in honeybees and beekeeping in recent years due to a rapid decline in honeybee populations. Backyard beekeeping is just one of many ways to support and get to know honeybees. This workshop will be a primer into the world of bees and will cover the history of beekeeping, colony collapse and disorder, ways we can help honeybees, the basics of starting a hive and how to seasonally manage a hive. Courtney Cosgriff a local beekeeper, clinical herbalist, and certified nutritionist from Morrison, CO will be leading the workshop. Visit our event webpage to buy $20 tickets.
In addition to our Roots to Health Seedling Sale, we will be having free workshops on May 12th and May 19th. On May 12th at 11:00am there will be a workshop on vermicomposting and a workshop on growing food from scraps at 1:00pm. On May 19th there will also be a workshop on vermicomposting at 11:00am and a workshop on beekeeeping at 1:00pm.
