The GrowHaus offers workshops on a variety of topics to provide knowledge and hands-on experience to the general public. Experts on the subject areas teach in The GrowHaus' space for two hours, usually from 11am-1pm. The workshops are the second Saturday of every month and rotate on a variety of interesting and relevant topics.
Proceeds from workshop ticket sales support our food education, distribution, and production programs.
Members of Tambien, our monthly-giving membership program, always receive a discount on workshops. (To learn more about Tambien, click here)
Our upcoming workshops:
As summer comes to an end and your plants begin to ripen and mature, come learn about saving those precious seeds of the plants you have worked so to hard to cultivate. Julia Coffey, president of Seeds Trust, will be leading a workshop on how to harvest and save seeds. Seeds Trust is a 30 year old seed company dedicated to teaching customers to save their own seed and reverse the devastating loss of biodiversity we have seen in the past century. In this workshop, we will focus on a variety of seed saving information and techniques (including the wet-method for tomatoes) through hands-on practice. Buy tickets here!
