The Director of Operations is responsible for seamlessly running the internal operations of the organization. They manage The GrowHaus building facilities, support and supervise staff, and work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that The GrowHaus is a safe, productive, and inspiring place to work. The Director of Operations is a problem solver. They are the person GrowHaus staff will go to for help when they or their supervisor are not able to solve the issue on their own. The Director of Operations responds to and supports the daily needs of our building, our staff, and our programs so that everyone at The GrowHaus can effectively do their jobs. A successful Director of Operations will be someone who is detail-oriented, observant, good at communicating with a diverse group of people in English and Spanish, and able to delegate tasks or ask for help when needed. The Bookkeeper is a position for a dedicated individual to work closely with our executive team to manage financial transactions at The GrowHaus, create and analyze financial reports and budgets, and assist in the smooth financial functioning of The GrowHaus. We are looking for a highly organized, responsible and flexible individual who is excited to work behind the scenes efficiently and effectively. Our on-site community market is one space in which we are able to interact very closely with our neighbors, and therefore it’s important the person in this position be comfortable engaging with our customers. The Market Attendant will be tasked with spreading the news about all the activities taking place here at The GrowHaus, helping shoppers, keeping the market stocked and clean, and gathering feedback about how we can make improvements to the stock and space.
