Business Operations Director

Salary Range: $88,000-$103,000 depending on experience, plus competitive PTO and benefits package

The GrowHaus seeks a talented Business Operations Director to play a key role in shaping our next chapter. Upon receiving several large grants, The GrowHaus is embarking on its next growth phase. We are in the midst of defining our next big project, which may involve real estate and facilities management and/or establishing a new product. We seek an experienced business leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to meet our growing needs, oversee our operations and finances, and help us build capacity to enhance our programming and impact. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced nonprofit or small business professional to join a dedicated team of food justice experts and contribute to the next big chapter of The GrowHaus.

Community Programs and Food Access Promoter(a)

Hours: Hourly, full-time (40 hours/week Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, as well as occasional weekend and after-school hours as needed to support programs.
Pay: $22/hour, plus benefits

The GrowHaus is hiring a passionate individual from the community to join our team as a Community Programs and Food Access Promoter(a). This position involves leading community health and wellness education initiatives, supporting food access efforts, and fostering connections across all GrowHaus programs. The promotor(a) will co-facilitate classes, support outreach efforts, and serve as a welcoming and consistent presence for community members. This position requires strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a deep enthusiasm for working closely with people.

Community Programs and Food Access Apprentice

Hours: Part-time (20 hours/week non-exempt), Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, as well as occasional weekend and after-school hours as needed to support programs

Duration: 18 months with the opportunity for promotion to Community Programs and Food Access Promotor(a) upon successful completion of the program and its training.

Pay: $20/hour

This position will support community health and wellness education initiatives, food access efforts, and foster connections across all GrowHaus programs. The Apprentice will co-facilitate classes, support outreach efforts, and serve as a welcoming and consistent presence for community members. This position requires strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and an enthusiasm for working closely with people. The Apprentice will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the areas of: Food access and justice, working for/with community-led organizations, developing research-backed community and youth programming, facilitating classes, home visits, and workshops, and fostering access and inclusion.

Development and Communications Coordinator

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000, depending on experience, plus competitive PTO and benefits package

The Development and Communications Coordinator is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about social justice with experience in communications who is ready to jump in and make an impact. We’re a dynamic, extremely hardworking team. We strive for excellence and value flexibility, learning, and collaboration. In this role, you’ll manage The GrowHaus’ social media channels, support stewardship efforts for our monthly giving community, and support organizational administrative tasks. If you have experience working on social media campaigns, can comfortably speak English and Spanish, are fluent in Google Suite, and can meticulously execute tasks, we want to hear from you!
