VOLUNTEERING AT THE GROWHAUS
The GrowHaus relies heavily on volunteers to perform many of our daily tasks. If you want to become involved in food justice, are looking for an internship opportunity, or just have time to donate your professional skills, we'd love to hear from you!
All of our volunteer opportunities are drop-in, no registration necessary! We welcome you to join our team for any of the opportunities below.
If you are looking to bring a group of 5+, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your volunteer visit.

Growasis & Garden Plant Maintenance
+2nd & 4th Tuesday from 3-5pm each month
Please note, we are not accepting volunteers on Tuesday, October 22nd.
Come help us take care of our educational greenhouse space, our Growasis! The Growasis is home to a variety of tropical trees, perennial herbs, and annual vegetable plants as part of a permaculture food forest design. This includes activities like pruning, watering, transplanting and other general garden maintenance. During the warmer months we need help with weeding and other maintenance in our outdoor classroom gardens! Year round, we need help caring for our chickens and bunnies!
Learn more about education programs that use our Growasis space and outdoor classroom by checking out our Education Programs.
Thank you! To all who volunteer and believe in our mission!
